I am a mental health professional with over 13 years of post-Master’s experience. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Alabama, a nationally board-certified counselor, and a certified trauma-trained professional with a strong understanding and skill set to diagnose mental and substance abuse issues, while treating numerous psychological problems and providing preventative strategies to remain well. My mission is to empower disadvantaged and disenfranchised individuals, families, and #1youth to take control of their destiny and function productively by providing them the necessary skills to realize their dreams, through counseling, education, social skills training, motivation, and participating in the treatment of abnormal behaviors to become successful. I strive to work with individuals, families, groups, and communities to deal with mental health issues, improve overall well-being, and provide psychoeducation on issues related to wellness. I have extensive experience dealing with crisis intervention, self-esteem issues, trauma, unhealthy relationships, and questioning purpose in life.
